Elegant, Fine Art Wedding Photography in New York's Historic Capital
The couples who marry in Albany tend to have deep roots here — family connections, beloved venues, and a sense of place that makes their weddings feel grounded and real. There is something beautiful about that. The photographs I create at Albany weddings are not just images of a beautiful day — they are records of a community coming together to celebrate love in a city that has seen three centuries of history.
The Capital Region also offers extraordinary variety. You might celebrate at a historic country club surrounded by manicured grounds, a restored bank with original architectural detail, or a modern event space that lets your personal style take center stage. Whatever the setting, my job is to bring out the beauty that is already there and document your day with artistry and care.
Albany has been underestimated for too long. New York's capital city is a place of genuine history, unexpected beauty, and architectural grandeur — and it produces some of the most elegant, sophisticated weddings I have the privilege of photographing. From the stately country clubs and estates of the Capital Region to the beautifully restored historic venues downtown, Albany and its surrounding communities offer a depth and variety of backdrops that continually inspire me. As an Albany wedding photographer, I bring a fine-art sensibility and a deeply personal approach to every celebration here, creating timeless images that reflect the sophistication and warmth of your day.
A City of History, Elegance, and Authentic Celebration
I have photographed weddings across the Capital Region and have developed a deepappreciation for the variety and quality of venues the area has to offer.
The State Room in downtown Albany offers a sophisticated, urban elegance that stands apart from every other venue in the Capital Region — soaring ceilings, dramatic architecture, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Albany skyline in a way that is genuinely spectacular to photograph in every season.

Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia is a historic gem — a 17th-century Dutch colonial estate on the Mohawk River with extraordinary character and charm. The original stonework, period details, and riverfront setting create photographs that feel like they belong in a museum.
Albany Country Club is one of my favorites — a classically elegant country club setting with beautiful grounds, refined interiors, and the kind of timeless atmosphere that makes for stunning photographs. The combination of grand architecture and natural light throughout the clubhouse creates opportunities for portraiture that I genuinely look forward to every time.

As a Saratoga Springs wedding photographer, I have the privilege of documenting love stories in one of the most charming and historic towns in Upstate New York. Saratoga Springs is a place where timeless elegance meets natural beauty, making it an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding day. From the classic charm of downtown to the peaceful gardens and luxury venues just beyond Broadway, every corner of this community offers a setting that feels both romantic and unique.
Couples who choose to marry here often fall in love with the blend of rich history and vibrant energy. Imagine exchanging vows surrounded by the manicured lawns and grand architecture at Saratoga National Golf Club, or celebrating with family and friends under twinkling lights at the historic Canfield Casino in Congress Park. The tree-lined paths, Victorian homes, and mineral springs give Saratoga Springs an atmosphere that feels magical and deeply rooted in tradition.
Working as a wedding photographer in Saratoga Springs means I know the best spots for stunning portraits, whether that’s in the quiet gardens of Yaddo, the lively streets near Caroline Street, or the sweeping views just outside town. Each season brings something different: vibrant foliage in autumn, soft blossoms in spring, and snow-covered elegance in winter. These natural changes make Saratoga Springs weddings truly one of a kind, with opportunities for breathtaking photographs year-round.
Choosing a Saratoga Springs wedding photographer also means having someone who understands how to balance candid storytelling with classic portraiture in this specific environment. I know the light that filters through Congress Park at sunset, the way the grand ballroom at The Hall of Springs photographs after dusk, and how to capture the joyful energy of a summer reception on Broadway. My goal is always to ensure your images reflect not just your wedding, but the spirit of Saratoga Springs itself.
Your love story deserves to be told in a place as extraordinary as Saratoga Springs, and I would be honored to preserve it for you. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration in the elegant gardens of Congress Park or a grand event at an iconic venue like the Hall of Springs, I will be there to capture every moment with care and artistry.
Why I love being
upstate New york weddings are some of my favorites! not only am i from lake george (and get to live in Saratoga Springs - close to where i grew up) but i get to shoot saratoga springs weddings, Albany Weddings, lake placid weddings and weddings all over the adirondacks!
Upstate New York is where I grew up and though I've lived elsewhere, I kept coming back to photograph Adirondack weddings. To be honest, nowhere else I've lived could compete with the beauty of the Adirondacks and the photographs I could take as a Saratoga Springs wedding photographer.
Why do I love it so much? Upstate New York has the absolute best people, the most stunning views in the Adirondacks and Catskill mountains, and stunning wedding venues. And Upstate New York (Saratoga Springs) is by far the best place to be planning your wedding. I love all the wedding venues that the area has to offer, but I wanted to highlight a few are extra close to my heart! My favorite wedding venues in Upstate New York are: The Inn at Erlowest, Canfield Casino, The Sagamore Resort, and the Promise Gardens of the Adirondacks. The few other venues that we love are: The Sablewood, the Hall of Springs, Saratoga National, The Adelphi Saratoga, Hiland Country Club Queensbury and Glen Sanders Mansion Scotia. If you're seeking a venue in the Lake Placid area, be sure to check out the Lake Placid Lodge, the Lake Placid Club and High Peaks Resort!
