A "Big Fat Greek Wadding at the Old Daley on Crooked Lake"

Everyone loves a Greek wedding! After a year of Covid restrictions, there’s no better way to celebrate significant events than with a vibrant and lively occasion, and Eleni and Pat’s wedding certainly delivered on all fronts! The day began in the beautifully appointed wedding suites of the Old Daley on Crooked Lake, where the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and joy on that warm, sunny day. Eleni and Pat shared an intimate first look, capturing the pure emotion of the moment before heading out to take pre-ceremony photos with their families and wedding party. These candid moments were filled with laughter and love, setting a joyous tone for the day ahead.

After the photo session, the couple made their way to Saint Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church, known for its stunning architecture and breathtaking ceiling, which I couldn’t help but admire through my lens. The traditional Greek ceremony was a beautiful affair, rich with cultural significance, as Pat and Eleni exchanged vows and became husband and wife. Following the ceremony, they joined their guests for a lively cocktail hour, where the celebration truly began.

Fun introductions and the couple’s first dance led to an explosive energy as the dance floor erupted with traditional Greek dances. Guests enthusiastically joined in, creating a festive atmosphere filled with joy and celebration. In true Greek fashion, the dancing continued well into the night, with everyone celebrating in style and creating unforgettable memories.

A special shoutout to the talented vendors who made the day magical: the stunning venue was Old Daley on Crooked Lake, while Conway Entertainment’s DJ Brian Garreau kept the party lively. Blooms Floral Design provided beautiful arrangements, and Lovecraft Productions captured every moment on film. Hair and makeup were expertly done by True Beauty Company, and the delicious cake came from Perfect Blend Café. Formalwear was sourced from Deanna’s & Men’s Warehouse.
