Megan and Martin’s summer wedding day began in the High Peaks of the Adirondacks, at the Whiteface Club on the shores of Lake Placid. In the wedding suite, Megan slipped into a family heirloom – her grandmother’s wedding dress – with the help of her mother and sister. After placing her jewelry, and a deep breath, Megan walked outside to greet her groom for their first look. Martin was all smiles as he got to see his bride and couldn’t stop grinning all through formal photos! A sweet traditional ceremony followed on the shore of the lake before the couple joined friends and family at the boathouse for their cocktail hour. As guests made their way up the the ballroom at the Whiteface Club, the newlyweds slipped away for a ride in style on Lake Placid in a 1925 Criss Craft. Following the boat ride, Megan and Martin shared their first dance as a married couple and dances with their parents. Laughter-filled speeches kicked off the reception dinner and DJ Mike Reilly got the dance floor rocking after dinner. And boy was it a party – even the grandmothers could be seen dancing the night away on the floor! Congratulations to Dr and Mrs (soon to also be Dr!!
