While Saratoga National does have a space for couples and their wedding parties on site, we recommend taking advantage of one of the many beautiful hotels in downtown Saratoga Springs. Downtown is only a short 10 minutes from the venue so its an easy trip from your hotel to the club. A few of our favorites are the Adelphi Hotel, the Embassy Suites and the Saratoga Casino Hotel (we know its attached to a casino but trust us on this one). 

Ceremony times can vary based on season and location, but we find a mid-afternoon ceremony is ideal for most weddings at Saratoga National Events. This leaves plenty of time for photos (whether you do a first look or not) and guests can enjoy the upper deck during Mazzone Catering's delicious cocktail hour. With a mid-afternoon ceremony, dinner falls at the perfect hour to keep guests satisfied and nightfall perfectly syncs with your DJ amping up the dance floor.

Family portraits and wedding party photos can be taken at a variety of locations around the property. For those who don't mind a short stroll, there are beautiful views of the venue, pool and greens from the back of the clubhouse. For those who want to stay local to the ballroom, the front entrance lawns and upper deck provide beautiful spaces without the walk.

There are many beautiful photo opportunities on property, so we recommend scheduling your first look at least 2 hours before your ceremony. This provides ample time to travel around property via golf cart and get photos in all of the best locations. Setting the first look this early can also assure we'll have you tucked out of sight by the time your guests begin to arrive for the ceremony.

Yes, Saratoga National Events boasts some of the best reception food around. The venue is managed by Mazzone Hospitality and takes advantage of the Mazzone Catering team to deliver truly spectacular wedding food. From the abundant spreads at cocktail hour, to restaurant quality meals, this venue shatters the idea of "bad wedding food" and replaces it with a culinary experience thats not to be missed.

We recommend scheduling at least 1.5 hours of time for portraits. This provides ample time for couples photos (about 45 min to an hour) as well as family and wedding party photos (20 min each). If you are not doing a first look, your formal photos will take place during your one hour cocktail hour. It is important to note that photos during cocktail hour will require the full hour (30 min couples, 15 min wedding party, 15 min family). To help with this, you may consider allocating extra time during your getting ready time to capture individual family and wedding party photos without your spouse.

Absolutely! The main wedding tent is an excellent option for rainy day ceremonies in warm weather and the main ballroom can accommodate a large ceremony. Both spaces can be flipped by the staff for easy transitions from ceremony to reception
