Ashley & Ian’s Dream Wedding at Jimbo’s Club at the Point

For couples looking for a unique wedding venue that combines natural beauty, charm, and a bit of adventure, Jimbo’s Club at the Point on Brant Lake is a hidden gem in the Adirondacks. Ashley and Ian’s wedding was a perfect example of how this stunning venue can set the stage for a wedding day full of unforgettable moments. Capturing their special day was an absolute joy, from the sweet first look to the lively celebration with their closest family and friends.

Getting Ready at Jimbo’s Club at the Point

Ashley and Ian each spent their morning getting ready separately at Jimbo’s Club at the Point, a venue that truly offers everything a couple could want or need. Ashley prepared for the day in the venue’s boathouse, with lakeside views that set a calm and serene tone for the day. The picturesque surroundings of Brant Lake were the perfect setting as she and her bridal party enjoyed the morning together. Ian, meanwhile, was preparing with his groomsmen in a nearby cabin. There was a palpable sense of excitement as the day’s festivities approached, and the couple couldn’t wait to see each other.

A Sweet First Look on the Sandbar

One of the most special moments of the day came during the first look, which took place on the sandbar in the middle of Brant Lake. This private and intimate spot gave Ashley and Ian a chance to share a quiet moment before the hustle and bustle of the ceremony. As they saw each other for the first time, the love and excitement in their eyes was undeniable! Afterward, we spent some time capturing formal portraits around the property, taking full advantage of the venue’s natural beauty. From the towering trees to the lakeside views, every corner of Jimbo’s Club at the Point provided the perfect background for their wedding photos.

Weather Woes & Beating the Rain

While the weather threatened rain throughout the morning, Ashley was determined to have the outdoor ceremony of her dreams. The venue staff at Jimbo’s Club at the Point worked with the couple to adjust the timeline, moving the ceremony up so they could take advantage of a break in the weather. Thanks to their quick thinking, we were able to hold the ceremony outdoors, right by the water, just before the rain rolled in. Ashley walked down the aisle with her dad, and was all smiles as she greeted her groom. As the couple exchanged their vows, it was clear how deeply in love they are.

Cocktail Hour & Lakeside Fun

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the main porch for cocktail hour, where they enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres while taking in the view. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, with everyone celebrating the newlyweds as the weather cleared up.

As the evening wore on, the sky brightened, and the rain passed. Ashley and Ian didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits. They shared their first dance with their guests, followed by a lively night of dancing to the beats of Those Guys, their fantastic band. The music kept everyone on the dance floor all night, creating a high-energy, fun atmosphere. Even Ashley’s grandmother joined in the dancing!

A Splash in Brant Lake

One of the highlights of the night came after the rain passed. Ashley and Ian, in true adventurous spirit, decided to take a dip in Brant Lake. The couple’s joy and carefree attitude shone through as they plunged into the water together, a perfect representation of their fun-loving and spontaneous personalities. Their dip in the lake was a refreshing and unexpected moment that perfectly capped off a day full of unforgettable memories.

Wedding Details That Made the Day Special

Every detail of Ashley and Ian’s wedding reflected their personalities and vision for the day. The floral arrangements by Blooms Weddings and Events were stunning, with soft, romantic blooms that perfectly complemented the lakeside setting. The wedding cake, created by Cake by Alissa, was not only beautiful but also delicious, with a simple but stunning flower petal design.

Julie Potter, Master Stylist, worked her magic with Ashley’s hair and makeup, creating a flawless bridal look that stayed beautiful throughout the day and into the night. With the help of the talented Matt Whalen from Whalen Production, the couple was able to relive their day through a beautiful wedding video that captured all of the special moments.
