Thanks to their quick thinking, we were able to hold the ceremony outdoors, right by the water, just before the rain rolled in. Ashley walked down the aisle with her dad, and was all smiles as she greeted her groom. As the couple exchanged their vows, it was clear how deeply in love they are.
Cocktail Hour & Lakeside Fun
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the main porch for cocktail hour, where they enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres while taking in the view. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, with everyone celebrating the newlyweds as the weather cleared up.
As the evening wore on, the sky brightened, and the rain passed. Ashley and Ian didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits. They shared their first dance with their guests, followed by a lively night of dancing to the beats of Those Guys, their fantastic band.
